“Lend a Hand” Happy Hour for Federal Employees…

Join in the celebration! This cool, new (FREE!) event, hosted by GovLoop and the Washington City Paper, at McFadden's will bring together Federal employees and 30 charities to build upon the successful launch of this year’s Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area, the workplace giving campaign for Federal employees. 

Every year during the CFCNCA giving drive, you receive a brochure with hundreds of charities.  But do you really know the do-gooders behind the descriptions?

In a fun and relaxed setting, Federal employees will have an 
opportunity to network and meet face to face with some of the more than 4,000 charities participating in the CFCNCA. New Federal employees are encouraged to attend to learn more about the campaign and how to get involved.

Come and connect with other folks like you -- Federal and non-profit leaders -- who have committed themselves to public service.

For Federal Employees

• This event is restricted to Federal employees only.

For Charities

• In order to bring the broadest possible range of charities to Federal employees, the following rules apply:
  • Available to the first 30 charities that sign up on a first come, first served basis.
  • Only one person from each charity will have a spot reserved.
  • Federations are limited to one representative from the federation and one representative from three charities only.  Federations may not sign up for their charities. Each charity must sign up on its own.
  • As this is a networking event, the only item charities may bring are brochures.  Do not bring giveways.
  • No fundraising or asking for pledges may happen at this event.
  • Please wear a hat or t-shirt to identify your charity.
